There were two very minimal indentations at the edge of the table top upon unpacking but I was especially surprised by the bar stools which are also easy to clean, soft and VERY comfortable to sit on!

This is a great set. So beautiful and elegant. My only complaint is that it arrived with some scratches, but given the discount I suppose it is to be expected. Nothing that a magic marker can't fix if you feel the need to touch it up. The folding leaf is ideal. My apt. doesn't have a dining room, so I stuck it in a corner in my living room and can pull out the leaf whenever I want to have people over dinner.
